PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar. 25, 2009-- Ameron International Corporation (NYSE: AMN) today reported net income of $3.8 million, or $.42 per diluted share in the first quarter ended March 1, 2009, compared to net income of $9.7 million, or $1.07 per diluted share, in the first quarter ended March 2, 2008. Sales totaled $146.0 million in the first quarter of 2009, compared to $149.8 million, in 2008.
